I grew up around entrepreneurs. My dad owns two businesses, my mom and stepdad ran their own operation, and I was working on a neighbor's farm at 9 years old — old enough to get a 1099 and owe taxes at 10 (Yes, I for real owed taxes at 10 😂 ). Operations has never been something I learned. It's something I've always just done.

Before Second Mug, I spent nearly a decade dealing poker, including five years in private high-stakes games where reading a room and managing chaos under pressure wasn't optional. I also worked in finance, bartended, and spent five years in the nutraceutical industry working my way up to Director of Operations, joining a brand two weeks after launch and helping scale online revenue to over $350K a month in under a year, and managing a B2B sales pipeline well into the 8 figures.

I've built operations from the ground up more times than I can count — production schedules, vendor supply chains, shipping workflows, order flow, and sales processes. I also bring the financial side to the table. With an Associate's in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification (Level 2), I don't just make things run smoothly — I make sure they're running profitably. Most ops people can tell you if something is efficient. I can tell you if it's actually making you money.

Second Mug started as a bookkeeping concept — a second set of eyes on your books — but it's grown into something bigger. Today I work with small business owners and solopreneurs who are good at what they do but overwhelmed by everything else. My job is to come in, see what's broken, build what's missing, and make sure you're not dependent on me forever. Every system I build comes with documentation so you can own it.
